Fenestra

Fenestra is an untamed landscape. Humanity huddles in little patches of land, building walled towns around the perimiter, and burning away the trees to try to make a safe little space for their fields and livestock.

The forest crushes villages and sometimes even towns. Humanity pushes back here, while another village falls there, then the cycle repeats.
