BIND: Core Rules

BIND is an open-source RPG with supportive rules that resolve quickly.

• The character creation: 15 minutes,
• Combat: 5 minutes
• Death: imminent

Skills

The Skills each cover a wide variety if abilities, depending on how you pair them.  Someone with Strength +1 and Deceit +2 would be able to Intimidate with a +3 bonus.

Dexterity	Forgery	Sleight of hand
Charisma	Storytelling	Bold-faced lies

Combat

All combat rolls are resisted. When you miss, the enemy hits you. When the enemy misses, you hit them.

We don't roll Initiative here - just spend your Action Points to pull of manoeuvres.

• Spend 1 to guard an ally
• Spend 2 to swing that sword
• Spend 1 more to flee

Armour covers numbers on the dice - the better the protection, the more numbers it covers.  But you can always roll above those numbers for a Vitals Shot.

Fate Points

The system has no healing, but it does grant PCs a little luck.  Once a character receives an injury, it remains for the rest of the session, but wounded characters can still feel their luck return as their Fate Points regenerate.

Infinitely Hackable

The project is 100% open source (GPL). You can add/ remove/ change anything (including the images), or use them in your own project, as long as it's covered under the same licence.
